Lakewood Stud is owned and managed by Martin and June Whiting.  We are based just outside Morpeth in rural Northumberland.

The Cattle

• Breedplan performance-recorded pedigree Aberdeen Angus herd-many in the top 1%
• Have been awarded the 2010 Eblex Beef BRP for the beef producer who has most improved the genetic merit of their herd over the last year
• PCHS - accredited Johnes, vaccinated BVD and Leptospirosis 
• Closed herd

The Goats

• Breeding top quality goatmeat (chevon) - a healthy red meat
• In the process of converting to Boer goats for increased meat production
• CAE accredited by SACS
• Contented, happy and well cared for herd
• Northumberland - born and bred
